The 2-hectare "La Monaca" vineyard, 320 meters above sea level, in the Monreale DOC region, has been providing the perfect breeding ground for Syrah since 2011. The cooler, sandy soils, combined with the vineyard's northeastern exposure, ensure consistently good grape ripeness, even in hot years.
480 hours of work were invested in the vineyard.
2018 was a rather cooler and rainy year.
Fermentation in steel tanks, 14 months aging in 350 liter French oak barrels.
