A gin with a very clear line. Only juniper goes into the bottle (and of course, pure alcohol married with water). No long list of botanicals, no sugar, and no frills. The Rhein Gin sticks to what is tried and true, and it does well to do so. Speaking of good: the juniper used here must be of excellent quality. The nose is not only resinous and needle-like but also brimming with licorice, vanilla, fennel, and slightly fruity notes.
