Ribera del DueroThe Flores de Callejo is the freshest expression of a Tinto Fino. It comes from the vineyards La Emilia, La Huelga, Astrales, Jaime, and Sandelaisa in Sotillo de la Ribera. The vineyards are located between 830 and 850 meters in altitude, and the vines root in calcareous marl and especially clay soils. After a cool pre-fermentation, the grapes were destemmed, spontaneously fermented, and fermented with as little extraction as possible in cement tanks and aged for over five months.
