15 - 30 grams (ideal for 2-3 servings) large fresh winter black truffles from Australia - are the "EXTRA" tuber melanosporum.
Deep black truffles in good ripeness, smaller size with almost no cuts, perfectly healthy and with fine white veins in the flesh.
The season for these "winter black truffles" starts at the end of May and lasts until the end of August. In 1997, 13,000 trees (mainly oaks) were planted in Manjimup, in southwestern Australia. The soil in this region has roughly the same composition as the truffle regions in France. After 7 years, the roots of the trees were inoculated with truffle spores.
In 2005, the first kilogram was harvested in May. Today, the winter black truffles from Manjimup are considered the best of their kind worldwide.

Please consume within a few days of receipt. For short-term storage, we recommend wrapping the truffle in dry kitchen paper and keeping it refrigerated in a suitable container. The kitchen paper should be checked daily and changed if necessary.

Please check the truffle immediately upon receipt. The goods are weighed on a calibrated scale with an alibi memory. Natural weight loss during transport and storage is unavoidable and does not constitute grounds for complaint.
