The absolute top quality of fresh winter gourmet truffles from Australia - large "EXTRA" tuber melanosporum bulbs.

Whole, deep black truffles in good ripeness, perfectly healthy and flawless, with a surface covered in small to medium-sized warts and fine white veins in the flesh. Bulb size from 30g upwards.

The season for these "winter gourmet truffles" starts at the end of May and lasts until the end of August. In 1997, 13,000 trees (mainly oaks) were planted in Manjimup, in southwestern Australia. The soil in this region has roughly the same composition as the truffle areas in France. After 7 years, the roots of the trees were inoculated with truffle spores.

In 2005, the first kilogram was harvested in May. Today, the winter gourmet truffles from Manjimup are considered the best of their kind worldwide.

Minimum weight: 30 g

Black truffle (Tuber melanosporum).

Please consume within a few days of receipt. For short-term storage, we recommend wrapping the truffle in dry kitchen paper and keeping it refrigerated in a suitable container. The kitchen paper should be checked daily and changed if necessary.

Store refrigerated at a maximum of +7°C.

Please check the truffles immediately upon receipt. The goods are weighed on a calibrated scale with an audit trail. Natural weight loss during transport and storage is unavoidable and does not constitute grounds for complaint.

Prices fluctuate "daily". It may happen that if the supplier has raised prices, we unfortunately have to charge extra.

Unfortunately, we do not have a data interface for this.

The price depends on numerous factors. For example, harvesting is not possible in the rain, and of course, the truffles must be flown in from Australia.
