Of the 92 hectares owned by the Luce winery, 11 are in the Brunello di Montalcino area.
This is where the Sangiovese grape for Luce Brunello grows, a tribute to this wonderful wine that originated in Montalcino in the second half of the 19th century. In 1980, it was the first wine in Italy to receive the DOCG certification of controlled and guaranteed designation of origin; today, it is considered one of the most important premium wines made in Italy. With Luce Brunello di Montalcino, the winery continues its path as a producer of high-quality wines, inspired by the uniqueness of the terroir and the greatness of the vines thriving there.
